Whoops - it's been well over a month since the last update! How did that happen?
A lot has changed since the last broadcast; we've moved slots and are currently sharing Wednesdays, 8-10pm with Jelly Jazz - a result of which is that we've now got to keep the language clean (in the first hour at least). Secondly, we've been urged to push the community ethos of Phonic FM a little harder, so expect to hear a bit more talking in our future shows.
Anyway - I digress. The most important thing about this news update is to announce the upload of our new show; a diverse mix of funk soul and hip hop beats from Heavy Stylus, some classic jazz breaks from Pinks, and the Little Kids (the kings of the jazz/latin/hiphop bootleg) have sent us an awesome 20-minute mash-up featuring UK DMC champion Clever Monkey cutting up the Kids' back catalogue and some new and previously unheard edits. Hot stuff!
